Collection of materials
The collection of materials is to give a basis of information which teachers and students can use to
develop topics for discussion. The selection of texts depends on the teaching time available and the
teaching method chosen. The various materials were deliberately not arranged according to questions
or tasks, since these - if they are to be meaningful - are strongly dependent on the actual situation
of those being taught.
- Historical approach
As far as possible, excerpts from original texts or translations of them have been collected here. Where short extracts from some authors did not provide an easily comprehensible picture, excerpts from secondary literature were also given, i.e. interpretations of primary sources.

Religious approach
The most important original texts here are:
- The Tanakh for the Jews, identical to the Old Testament for the Christians
- New Testament for the Christians and
- The Koran for the Muslims
For the secondary sources we have used in particular works by Adel Theodor KHOURY and Hans KÜNG on Judaism, on Christianity
and Islam . (cf. bibliography)
